Between 2010 and 2012, in the context of a research Project funded by the Brazilian agency FAPESP, the PaloLab conducted field work in the permian rocks of the Pedra de Fogo Formation and in the jurassic rocks of the Pastos Bons Formation, especially along the road connecting the towns of Pastos Bons and Nova Iorque. We collected fossils including sharks, bone-fishes, gymnosperms and crocodylians.
