Lab Our lab is linked to the Departamento de Biologia da Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto - USP . The team is mainly represented by graduated students (PhD and Master) as well as by undergraduated ones.
Subjects We are mainly interested in evolutionary aspects involving the reproductive biology of Ficus. We have focused on biology and systematics of fig wasps. In 2007 we started a project on effect of habitat fragmentation over the fig - fig wasp mutualism. We are studing three landscapes with different levels of forest fragmentation in Sao Paulo State, Brazil.
